		<description>
About

Quality Control Sports was founded in 2019 by two pioneering music executives, Pierre “P” Thomas and Kevin “Coach K” Lee. The duo have built their label Quality Control Music from the ground up into the industry’s biggest Cinderella story, garnering billions of streams yearly from groundbreaking acts like Migos, Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, and City Girls. Coach and P have long credited their management style and widespread success to their lifelong love of sports, often comparing their Quality Control Music label to a team so their eventual expansion into the sports world was inevitable. QC Sports currently represent star running-back and 2017 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints, and more recently University of Georgia’s D’Andre Swift who was drafted to the Detroit Lions in 2020. “Every team needs a coach,” said Coach K during an interview with 11 Alive, and with Coach and P calling the shots for QC Sports, their team is destined to continue their winning-streak in 2020 and beyond.

DEEBO

Born and raised in South Carolina, Tyshun “Deebo” Samuel grew up to value the importance of setting goals and striving to achieve them early on. Deebo and his eight siblings, along with his close friends all consistently encouraged each other to accomplish anything they put their minds to. He stayed the course and found his passion in football after watching his longtime favorite player, Reggie Bush.

As an ode to his speed Deebo gained the second nickname “Sweet Feet” from his stepmother Precious Martin while in high school. During his high school career he finished with 61 receptions for 1,184 yards and 15 touchdowns, while also registering 837 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. Samuel finished with a record of 53 career touchdowns, 94 tackles and 12 interceptions. He was awarded the High School Sports Report Class AAA Offensive Player of the Year and played in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. Transitioning to the University of South Carolina, “Sweet Feet” appeared in 30 games with a total of 27 starts. He registered 148 receptions for 2,076 yards and 16 touchdowns. As a kick returner, he recorded 42 returns for 1,219 yards and 4 touchdowns. In the first game of the 2017 season against NC State, Samuel had five catches for 83 yards, for 2 touchdowns and also returned the opening kickoff back for a touchdown. As a senior in 2018, he earned First-Team All-SEC honors after hauling in 62 receptions for 882 yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games. Deebo also earned Second- Team All-America honors by the Football Writers Association of America.

Deebo is currently a standout player for the San Francisco 49ers. He finished the 2019 season with 802 receiving yards (a 2nd all-time most receiving yards by a rookie in 49er franchise history). He also became the first wide receiver in franchise history to have 3-or-more rushing touchdowns in a single season along with being the first wide receiver to have 3-or-more rushing touchdowns in a single season in the NFL since 2016 following Tyreek Hill and Ty Montgomery. On the first drive against the Los Angeles Rams during the 2020 season, he secured his first touchdown of the season and 4th receiving touchdown of his career. .

D’ANDRE SWIFT

D'Andre Swift truly lives up to his last name. The Georgia Bulldog running back finished his junior year with 2,885 rushing yards, becoming the fifth player in UGA history to have multiple 1,000-yard seasons and first since Nick Chubb (2014, 16-17).

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Swift's passion for football began as he and his grandfather, Henry Holloway, watched Eagle games together. Swift says his grandfather was instrumental in developing his love for the game and eventually led Swift to play for the Enon Eagles, a Pop Warner team sponsored by Enon Tabernacle Church.

It's here the former Eagles rusher learned the fundamentals of football through character building while developing extraordinary athletic prowess. Unfortunately, Swift's grandfather passed in 2004 due to an illness. From this moment on, Swift decided to honor his late grandfather's memory by writing "Pop Pop" and "Rest In Peace" on his wrist tape, gloves or cleats.

While at St. Joseph's Prep, Swift rushed for 1,564 yards and 34 total touchdowns, leading his team to a perfect 14-0 record and victory in the 2017 Class 6A State Championship game. This was the end of his extraordinary high school career.

As a University of Georgia freshman, he continued to excel in his career and develop his football IQ. Despite being a backup running back his sophomore year, he managed to accumulate 1,049 yards and 10 touchdowns - both of which were team-highs.

2019 was a standout year for Swift as he received numerous awards including being named to the Coaches’ All-SEC 1st Team and All-SEC 2nd Team by AP; a co-winner of the Vince Dooley Offensive MVP; SEC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance vs. Kentucky; and named to pre-season watch lists for the Maxwell Award, Doak Walker Award, and Walter Camp Player of the Year.

He was also included in the Sporting News Preseason All-America Second Team, Athlon Sports Preseason All-America Second Team, Sports Illustrated Preseason All-America Second Team, CBS Sports Preseason All-America Second Team, and Preseason All-SEC First Team Offense by media.

His career highs include 186 rushing yards vs. Auburn, 2018; 25 rush attempts vs. Florida, 2019; a long rush of 83 yards at Kentucky, 2018; 6 receptions vs. Alabama, 2018' and 84 receiving yards vs. Florida, 2017.

Through self-discipline, exemplary character, and a tremendous work ethic, Swift is constantly setting an example for what players look like both on and off the field. He consistently challenges himself to be the best and inspires his teammates to do the same.&#38;nbsp;

Swift is a Mass Communications major and recipient of the IV Chandler Football Scholarship and the Christian Walker Football Scholarship.
